Finally their is the Interior Design Society which is devoted to promoting excellence in the field of interior design. It was founded in 1973 and is made up of interior decorators, home furnishing stores, design studios, manufacturers and distributors. Those are three of the biggest organizations in the interior design industry. There are several other interior design groups and organizations but these are some of the bigger ones.
